Music An Irish band called The Divine Comedy contributed the theme tune for the show. This was later reworked into the track Songs Of Love from their Casanova album. Their first choice to submit was Woman Of The World, although this was rejected for the tune we all know. Aswell as the theme tune, they also composed My Lovely Horse from A Song For Europe, and My Lovely Mayo Mammy, from Night Of The Nearly Dead. Other music heard in the show includes Limb By Limb by Cutty Ranks, which is the Father Stacks' Jungle music of choice, and The Penthouse Suite by Syd Dale, which is Pat Mustards' theme. Possibly the best named character in the series, Father Billy O'Dwyer "The Spinmaster"s record was Ghost Town by The Specials |
